How Can a Small Lump On The Back Be Treated?

I have a small bulge/bump on my low back. It is not fixed, it is moveable. I do not have pain. It has been there for some time, but has gotten a little bigger, about the size of a pea or bean. It is not directly on my spine, just to the right of my spine.

Hello and thank you for asking Healthcaremagic.

The lump that you describe correlate with a lipoma (accumulation of fat)
It is benign so don't worry.
Another option is a sebaceous cyst, also benign.

You should check it up with your physician to confirm the diagnose and a surgeon to remove it (of course if you want to remove it)

If you have any other question, feel free to contact me.
